Testimonials
Working with Kolia has been a great experience. He's an outstanding UI/UX Designer with an exceptional eye for detail. His interfaces are always clean, polished, and truly pixel-perfect. You can immediately see the level of care and craftsmanship he puts into every screen.
What makes Kolia stand out is that he balances beautiful design with practical product thinking. He creates intuitive user experiences, builds scalable design systems, and always considers how design decisions impact both users and business goals.
He's proactive, collaborative, and highly dependable. Design reviews with him are always valuable because he backs his ideas with clear reasoning instead of personal preference. He communicates effectively with designers, developers, and product managers, making the whole design process smoother.
I would happily work with Kolia again and strongly recommend him to any company looking for a designer who delivers both outstanding UI quality and thoughtful product design.

I had the pleasure of working alongside Mykola at Web Design Sun, where he served as a UI/UX Designer and I collaborated with him from the development side.
As a developer, I especially valued how Mykola bridged the gap between design and engineering. His designs were not only visually polished but also thoughtfully structured — clear layouts, consistent components, and well-organized handoffs that made implementation smooth. He clearly cared about the details, yet never lost sight of the bigger picture or the end user.
Beyond his technical skill, Mykola was a genuinely great teammate. He communicated openly, was always open to feedback, and worked through tricky UX problems collaboratively rather than defensively. When questions came up during development, he was quick to clarify intent and flexible in finding solutions that worked for both users and the engineering constraints.
Any team would be lucky to have Mykola. I'd gladly work with him again and recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a strong, reliable, and user-focused designer.

I had the opportunity to work with Mykola Dykyi in a direct managerial capacity, where he worked under my supervision on the design of complex systems and digital applications.
Mykola consistently demonstrated a high level of design quality and strong problem-solving skills when working on challenging product requirements. He is capable of handling complex UX/UI tasks and translating them into clear, well-structured design solutions.
One of his key strengths is his ability to quickly learn new technologies and effectively apply them in practice, which made him especially valuable in fast-evolving project environments.
He reliably met all assigned responsibilities and delivered work of a consistently strong standard.
I recommend Mykola for collaboration and would be confident working with him again in the future.

About me
I'm Mykola, and I became a designer because I was tired of interfaces that were simply bad.
I studied information and telecommunication systems, so I came to design through logic and code. My eye for visuals grew at a printing house, and a customer-facing job taught me to listen before I draw. Since then I've brought that mix of logic, craft and people to every project, as a freelancer, on contract and at a web agency.
How I design
Speed beats perfection in the early stages. I get a working version in front of users fast and save the final polish for later.
Quality means pixel-perfect UI that is also easy to use. Clean, consistent interfaces with every detail considered: motion, interactions and edge cases.
Metrics show whether the design really works. I start with the numbers that matter to the business and measure them after launch.
Mykola Dykyi
Available for workI design web and mobile products that are easy to use and good to look at. And yes, they move the numbers too.
Psst... I designed and built this website myself 😎
